From a young age growing up in Chicago and Mexico City, Carlos Bono Music's featured guitarist Carlos Bono knew he wanted to become a professional classical guitarist, so he worked hard to develop his technique and an extensive performance repertoire. He was privately tutored on classical guitar in Mexico City before traveling to Europe to study music theory and perfect his classical guitar techniques at the famed musical conservatories in Madrid and Paris. He then learned electronic music in San Francisco.

 

Carlos has now spent over 40 years refining his technically clear sound and classical guitar playing style while impressing those he works with and teaches with his humble and effective approach to sharing his musical skills. During that time, Carlos has also made a reputable name for himself as a top guitarist in the competitive world of classical music.
