Many Instruments Welcome!
You can bring just about any band or orchestra instrument in playable condition to
join the Middletown Community Band. We can even arrange a part for you to play!
Our main requirements are that you should be able to read standard music notation
for your instrument and play it competently.
Traditional Band Instruments
At the Middletown Community Band, we are always looking for talented musicians to join our group. We welcome all band instruments including trumpets, trombones, saxophones, clarinets, flutes, and percussion. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced musician, we have a place for you. Guitar and Piano
We also welcome solo instruments like guitar and piano to join our musical group. We believe in inclusivity and want everyone to have the opportunity to showcase their talents. If you are interested in joining us with your guitar or piano, we will even write and arrange parts for your instrument to make sure everyone has a chance to shine.
String Instruments
In addition, we welcome all musicians with orchestral experience who enjoy playing string instruments. We believe that the sound of violins, violas, cellos, and upright basses will add a unique dimension and depth to our band's musical performances.
